On September 6, the Federal Communications Commission released a “fact sheet” entitled “WHAT YOU OWE – MEDIA SERVICES LICENSEES FOR FY 2016.”
This fact sheet outlines the regulatory fees due from AM, FM and television stations by September 27. In the sheet the FCC notes, “While FY 2016 regulatory fees will not become effective until the rulemaking is published in the Federal Register, regulatees at their own discretion, may submit payments at any time before the effective due date of FY 2016 regulatory fees.”
